Guernica – worth a read

I just finished reading ‘Guernica’, a work of historical fiction. Though I know some of Spain’s history, I’m not very familiar with the Basque region. This book, set in Guernica (Picasso’s painting of the same name also forms a part of the narrative), describes how the bombs in Guernica, and political clashes affect those who are the cause as well as those who become the victions. In short, a story well-told, and definitely worth a read.
